WHATS NEW STAMPTRAC UPDATE - VERSION 1.2

Welcome to the updated StampFinder StampTrac inventory program. We have added a number of new features to this program which expand the scope of what a collector can do and will be able to do in the future.

NEW FEATURES:

• The Settings now include Catalog so that collectors worldwide, using different catalog systems, will be able to use the same program and identification protocol. Also, items not recognized by another catalog can now be entered under that catalog's number.

• We have expanded the instructions and hints for users of this program. It is suggested that you print out the Hints section found under the 'Help' menu since you will find this greatly simplifies use of the program.

• An export feature has been added to allow creation of files for backup or for electronic transmission. The 'Settings' menu or the 'Want' or 'Have' buttons can be used to specify which records are to be included in the exported file. The file you create can then be emailed to other collectors or to sites such as StampFinder to register your want list items. StampFinder will be able to receive such want lists, run them against its inventory and send you availability information.

• An Import feature has been added to the program whereby backup files and files received from other sources can be added to your inventory. Note the Import is in the append mode so all new records will be added to an existing file.

• The printed output report format has been revised. As noted previously, use your settings to specify what items are to be included in the report. We welcome suggestions on what type of output reports you would like to see in future updates.
